There's no denying it.

This is my favorite time of year.

It may not be autumn cool yet (we are still experiencing temperatures in the 90s), but Halloween is in the air.

I am so ready to carve pumpkins, finalize the details of our costumes and get set for trick or treating.

Turtle is super excited. I love how every year, he gets more and more amped about our family traditions and celebrations and it warms my heart to see him getting involved and helping us form new customs.

I do miss some Northeastern favorites, like leaves changing color, apple picking, fresh cider and doughnuts, choosing your own pumpkin from the actual patch... but we'll make do with some of the fun events our area has to offer.

I can't wait to get started on some of the fun DIY projects I have in store for Halloween and Thanksgiving.

It's going to be great!
