{ monster bash }

I've got a thing for parties.

And a thing for Pinterest.

So when the two collide? It's just more than I can stand.

My beautiful friend K hosted the most fabulous Monster Party for her three year old Monkey.

She asked me to make the cake. 

And it was beyond fun.

Probably one of the favorite cakes I have ever made.

Anyway, K paid attention to every detail. From the monsters dangling from the chandeliers....

To the fabulous feather and googly eye wreath.

And let's not forget. The coveted monster watermelon fruit salad. Seriously. This is carving genius. Rawr.

Even the cups and straws fit the theme!

The whole day was awesome. The adults sipped punch and the kids enjoyed a massive waterslide. It was such a fun and wonderful party, and the birthday boy was so excited to blow out his candles!

It was a wonderful day, with wonderful friends. Happy birthday, little guy!
