We're just a family, experiencing this amazing journey called parenthood.


I've been married to a great guy (we'll call him MacGyver) for almost six years. Crazy how time flies.

And I'm a stay at home/work at home mom to an awesome little boy we lovingly call Turtle. He's pretty much the cutest thing ever. Not that we're biased, or anything.

I work on this blog, spend hours experimenting in the kitchen, find inspiration on Pinterest, redecorate our house on a regular basis, fight the neverending laundry battle, mess around with my beloved DSLR ... and sometimes I bake.

We are also, in case the title of this blog didn't give it away, devoted pug lovers. As evidenced by the fact that we have three. MacGyver has kind of put his foot down about adding to the gang, but he is aware that it is my life-long dream to have a Pug Ranch (other life-long dreams include having dinner with Johnny Depp in Captain Jack Sparrow garb and winning an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.)
